These are specialized services and crews for property evictions and lock outs. Services performed by our Commercial Department include packing, moving, locksmith services, photo inventory and storage.

Evictions and Lock Outs

Camelback Moving provides specialized services for both residential evictions and commercial lockouts. Dramatically different from normal moving services, our Commercial Department offers experienced professionals and flexible crew sizes to complete the removal of goods in one day. We have established working relationships with most of the deputies and constables in the valley and work alongside bank representatives and homeowners to provide services and ease stress during these difficult transitions.

In almost all evictions in Arizona, we are required to have all goods removed from the residence by 5:00 PM. Since we rarely know the amount of content that will need to be packed and moved before the move, increasing the crew size and the number of trucks to accomplish the 5:00 PM deadline is common.

Additional men and trucks can be provided at $70.00 per man/truck per hour. If additional men or trucks are sent, the final trip charge will be the equivalent of the highest hourly rate.

Example – If an eviction starts with a smaller crew, but requires 8 men and 2 trucks at a rate of $700.00 per hour for the last 3 hours, the trip charge for the eviction will be $700.00.

Storage options at Camelback Moving or a third-party facility are offered based on the circumstances of each eviction.

Typically, property owners are only responsible for the first month of storage of the former resident’s goods. The former resident gets access to the storage, but has a responsibility to either remove their goods or change the storage contract to their name in that month’s time. However, in some cases property owners may restrict access to the former residence’s goods and explore liquidation options for reimbursement of the cost of the eviction. In either scenario, all items are treated with the respect and care of any other residential customer.

Due to the nature of residential evictions, late rescheduling and same day cancellations are very common. We require a 4-hour minimum for all services and a non-refundable deposit equal to four hours plus the trip charge. In the event of rescheduled service, we must be notified before 5:00 pm two days prior to the eviction. Rescheduling is based on our availability. Changes made after 5:00 pm two days prior to the eviction will result in a forfeited deposit.
