For your convenience both our Order for Service and Bill of Lading we use for local and interstate relocations are available for your review. The terms and conditions of these contracts are available for consumers to see we have no hidden fees or agendas.
Valuation/Insurance Options
The common assumption is that full coverage is included when a moving company lists itself as a licensed and insured carrier. However, the basic coverage offered is not full value replacement insurance.
Local Bill of Lading
A Bill of Lading establishes a contract between you and the household goods carrier. It confirms rates, details the waiver and release agreement and authorizes the carrier to perform the services requested.
Local Order for Service
The Order for Service works in conjunction with a Bill of Lading. It contains the details of the move provided by the customer. As well as the specific policies regarding filing a claim, estimates and arbitration.
Tariff
The US Department of Transportation requires interstate movers to make their rates and charges public in a tariff that details the services provided, the conditions under which the services are provided, and the prices charged.
